(More customer reviews)For starters, Andis makes stellar products, for the most part. This one was where they had a misstep if you ask me. I own a T-Outliner which I use for my headline, sideburns, and around the ears. I couldn't ask for a better trimmer, but I was looking for something that would be just as effective, yet a bit smaller so it would be easier to hit eyebrows, beards, and moustaches.

I decided to try this trimmer out, figuring it seemed practical enough with it's small stature, cordless operation, and seemingly sharp blade. Turns out that while the blade itself very well may be pretty sharp, the trimmer itself just doesn't have the horsepower to deliver strong and fast cutting strokes. It chugs along when you turn them on, full power or not, and it of course gets considerably weaker as the battery drains.

As for the attachments...cheap junk. For whatever reason, they cause hair to snag on the trimmer whenever I used them. As an alternative I had to use a comb, which is quite effective, but one would expect the accessories that come with a product to be substantial enough to get the job done.

I realize that many a reviewer will rate a product based on their own experience, as opposed to the various other uses it may be suited for. While I wholly admit to that here, with this trimmers weak motor, useless attachments and poor battery power, I honestly can't foresee it being useful in ANY situation it was designed for.

I gave 3 stars as opposed to 2 or 1 because it does indeed FUNCTION, just not as well as I had desired. From my experience, it just takes more effort and patience to get results than should be necessary. If you're looking for the same thing that I was, which is a powerful, sharp, yet compact trimmer, then I'd say go with a corded, tried and true reliable model such as the Andis Edjer, or the Wahl Peanut.
